Malbers Animations is a one-person studio. This site exists to show animation packs and to let people reach me. It collects as little as it can get away with.
The short version. The only personal information I actively collect is whatever you type into the contact form. It arrives in my email inbox and nowhere else. I do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers, and there is no tracking or advertising network running on this site.
The form on the contact page asks for five things: your name, your email address, a topic, an order or invoice number if you have one, and your message.
The web host records standard access logs, including your IP address, browser and the pages requested. This is ordinary hosting infrastructure and is used for security and troubleshooting.
Images are served through Optimole, a content delivery network. Delivering an image means their servers see the request, including your IP address.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google directly, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads.
The site sets the cookies WordPress needs to work, plus one that remembers your cookie-banner choice. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Jetpack is installed but is not connected to a WordPress.com account, so its statistics and tracking features are inactive and collect nothing.
Nothing is sold on this website. Every pack is bought through the Unity Asset Store or Fab, and those stores handle the entire transaction under their own privacy policies.
I never see your card details, billing address, or payment information. What I receive from a store is limited to what it chooses to show a publisher, such as a sale record or a support request. If you email me an order or invoice number, I see that because you sent it to me.
Some links to the Unity Asset Store on this site carry an affiliate code. If you buy after following one, Unity credits the referral to me. The code identifies me, not you, and I receive no personal information about you through it.
Wherever you live, you are welcome to ask me for any of the following, and if you are in the UK, the EU, or a place with comparable law, you have a right to them:
Email malbersanimations@gmail.com and ask. Since the only thing I hold is email correspondence, these requests are usually quick to honour.
This site is aimed at game developers and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent me something, tell me and I will delete it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be obvious rather than quietly slipped in.
Questions about privacy, or about anything on this page, go to malbersanimations@gmail.com.
