Every Malbers Animations pack is covered by this agreement. It sits alongside the licence of the store you bought from — Unity Asset Store, Fab, Sketchfab or CGTrader — and sets out what you can build with the assets, and the few things you can’t.
This page is a plain-language summary. It is written to be read, not to be the last word. The full agreement on the documentation site is the binding document — if the two ever disagree, the full agreement wins.
Ship commercial games and keep what you earn. Provided you have paid the purchase price, the licence is royalty-free — no revenue share, no ongoing fees. You can monetise the assets inside your product, including through in-app purchases.
The licence is worldwide and is not limited by game engine, operating system, platform or device. Unity, Unreal, or whatever you build in next.
Covers employees, contractors and collaborators in a technical or creative role on your project. People working solely as producers, project managers, or solely on music and audio are not counted as part of your team.
Other developers can licence the same assets. If your project changes hands, the licence can move with it — with written notice and a signed undertaking from whoever takes it on.
One important exception. The Animal Controller scripts and the Riding System scripts from Horse Animset Pro are excluded from these restrictions. The NFT, blockchain and metaverse limits apply to the art assets — not to those scripts.
Ask first. 3D printing, or 2D render images for commercial use, need written approval. Email malbersanimations@gmail.com and just ask — it is usually a short conversation.
After-sales support is provided, but it is not guaranteed and can be withdrawn at any time. In practice, support happens on Discord and by email, and it is something I care about.
Malbers Animations may ask for records of your team size and how the assets are used, to check the licence is being respected. At least five days’ notice, no more than once every six months, and anything shared stays confidential.
Payments and chargebacks are handled by the store you bought from, not by Malbers Animations. For anything to do with a purchase, start with Unity or Fab.
The agreement is governed by the laws of Ecuador, and claims must be brought in the Ecuadorian courts.
A licence ends only after a non-trivial breach that is not put right within thirty days of notice.
The assets are provided “as is”, without warranties. Liability is capped at the purchase price you paid, and excludes indirect or consequential damages.
The agreement can change over time through store updates — but a change never affects a licence you have already bought. The version in force for your purchase is the one that was current when you bought it.
Everything above is a summary written for readability. The complete End User Licence Agreement lives on the documentation site, and that is the document that actually binds.
